Data Deletion Instructions

If you created or used your TheShortener account with Facebook Login, you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Option 1: Delete your account from TheShortener

1. Log in to your TheShortener account.
2. Go to Account Settings.
3. Scroll to the Delete your account section.
4. Click Delete Permanently.

When you delete your account, your account and associated personal data will be permanently removed from our system, except where we must retain certain information for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Option 2: Remove Facebook access

1. Log in to your Facebook account.
2. Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. Open Apps and Websites.
4. Select TheShortener.
5. Click Remove.

Removing the app from Facebook disconnects Facebook Login from your account. If you also want your data deleted from TheShortener, you must delete your TheShortener account using the steps above or contact us directly.
