Lemon Squeezy affiliate referral tracking
When you allow Advertising and Personalization cookies, TheShortener may load Lemon Squeezy's affiliate tracking technology. It may process an affiliate referral parameter, the page URL and referrer, and browser or device-derived information used to recognize a referral. It may set the ls_aff_ref cookie to support attribution under the provider-configured referral window, currently 60 days.
The purpose is to determine whether a qualifying purchase should be attributed to an approved affiliate and whether a commission may be eligible. Lemon Squeezy controls the authoritative attribution, commission validation, and payout records under its current provider terms.
If you decline or withdraw Advertising and Personalization consent, TheShortener will not load new affiliate tracking on subsequent page loads and referral attribution may not be recorded. The deployed application remediation also clears the local ls_aff_ref cookie for host and domain scopes when this consent is withdrawn. Existing provider transaction, referral, or commission records may still be retained where required for payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
